Sunlight, smoke, household cleaners and other environmental conditions may also affect the color match over time. These variations are considered to be the nature of the material in relation to their environmental exposure and are not covered under this warranty.

Glenwood reserves the right to alter design, specifications and material without obligation to make similar changes to products previously manufactured.

The repair(s) or replacement(s) are contingent upon the current product offerings of styles and construction options within Glenwood Kitchen products at the time of the warranty claim. PROPER CARE OF YOUR GLENWOOD KITCHEN CABINETS

The finished solid wood and genuine wood veneer cabinet components used in Glenwood Kitchen cabinets
are finished with a high quality conversion varnish or post catalyzed lacquer top coat designed to protect your
cabinetry from everyday usage. Glenwood Kitchen finishing materials are specially formulated to exceed the
most stringent industry performance standard, such as E1 standard. They are resistant to moisture and
most common household spills. This finish protects the wood and enhances its natural beauty. Glenwood
Kitchen finishes will remain beautiful with very little maintenance. Follow these tips on basic care of your
finish items and they will look good for many years to come. We have enclosed reports on resistance to
spills that we have received from our paint rep.

After Installation is Complete…

Simply wipe the cabinets with a soft clean cloth dampened with warm water. Dry immediately with another
soft clean cloth.

Regular Cleaning…

REMOVE DUST: As dust build-up, which are made up of small air borne particles, may scratch or dull the
surface if not removed correctly. Simply wipe the surface with a clean soft cotton cloth dampened with a
fresh solution of mild soap and water or vinegar and water

CLEAN: Fingerprints, cooking fumes, smoking residue accumulates on any finished surface which none
of these contaminates will harm the finish, but they should be periodically removed to restore the finish to it’s
original lustre. To remove just wipe the surface with a clean cloth dampened with a mild detergent solution.
As the finish is durable and resistant to most household spills; however spills and splatters should be wiped
up promptly to avoid potential problems.

CLEANING PRODUCTS TO AVOID: Avoid the use of strong soap, ammonia based products, silicone
oils or self-polishing waxes as they may cause damage. Ammonia based cleaners will cause your finish to
yellow.

To restore it’s original lustre…

Clear Lacquer Colors clean periodically with a mild soap and water or with vinegar and water. You
may also use “Mohawk Lemon Oil”. Regular lemon oils from your local supermarket may cause problems
to your finish. If you are to use lemon oil we only suggest Mohawk Lemon Oil product.

Solid Lacquer Colors clean periodically with a mild soap and water or with vinegar and water.

Important…

Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, high humidity and excessive heat as this can damage both
the finish and the wood itself. Excess moisture is one of the worst enemies of any finish. Sink, range,
dishwasher, oven and baseboard areas are most susceptible to this. Immediately dry surfaces where water
may have spilled using a clean cloth.

Avoid adding a damp cloth or dish towels over your cabinet doors as this moisture can cause permanent
damage to your finish.

First 20 to 30 days of a new kitchen – advise customers at night to keep cabinet doors open. As it takes
approximately 20 to 30 days for the gas to be release (to cure). This will prevent the yellowing on the back
of the doors.
