Drawer Options

At Glenwood we have numerous drawer box and slide options to offer our customers using the industries most popular technology. We offer a limited lifetime warranty on all of our drawer slides.

Draw box Construction:

• Melamine and Plywood drawers: We offer our drawers in White Melamine, Maple Melamine or plywood. Drawers are constructed with all 5/8 material and are dadoed and pinned to ensure a tight fit and durable drawer. Drawer Slides available are: epoxy side mount, Side Mount Ball bearing, and Soft close undermount Blum motion.

• Dovetail drawers: Dovetails are revered as a sign of quality and style. Our dovetails are made individually in house by hand. They are sanded smooth, assembled, sanded again then finished using our durable lacquers. They are constructed using solid 1/2″ birch and maple sides and a 5/8″ plywood bottom. Drawer Slides available are: epoxy side mount, Side Mount Ball bearing, and Soft close undermount Blum motion.

• Metabox drawers: Metabox is an economical metal drawer system. It has durable epoxy coated drawer sides and front drawer mounting clips for easy adjustment. The drawer bottom cosists of 5/8 white melamine. This drawer allows for 3/4 single extension of the slides. 55lb dynamic load capacity.

• Tandembox drawers: Tandembox is one of our premier drawer systems, catering for every conceivable application. All Tandembox come with full extension runners allowing total access to the drawer interior and smooth gliding action. Integrated Blum motion means all Tandembox close in a smooth controlled manner, even when slammed. 65 lb dynamic load capacity.

Drawer Slide options:

• Blum 230M Epoxy Side Mount: The 230M Epoxy is an economical drawer slide. It is a 3/4 extension, bottom mounted, epoxy slide. 55lb dynamic load capacity

• Accuride 3832 Ball Bearing Slide: The 3832 accuride is a side mount metal ball bearing slide. It is a full extension slide and has a 100lb dynamic load capacity.

** Also available on request is a heavy duty 4034 slide with a 150lb dynamic load capacity.

• Tandem 560B Blum Soft close: The Tandem with softclose is the industries benchmark in quality. This softclose slide is zinc coated with a concealed roll carriage which means you can only see it if you look under the drawer. This drawer is full extension and has a 66lb dynamic load capacity.

**Also available on request is a heavy duty 566B slide with a 110lb dynamic load capacity.
