Glenwood Kitchen Ltd., founded in 1973, manufactures the finest custom cabinets in Atlantic Canada. Right from the start we set a precedent to utilize only the best materials and craftsmen. We have steadfastly maintained that policy ever since. Our cabinets have three various types of compartment construction. The Glenwood is an all-wood construction. The Atlantic has a melamine compartment with wooden frames and doors. The Euro is a frameless construction with an all melamine compartment. With all these choices we have cabinets to fit every budget. We utilize five kinds of wood in our various styles of cabinets. They are oak, cherry, birch, red birch, and maple - each with it's own distinctive grain pattern. To further enhance our impressive selection, we have numerous different door styles and an unlimited selection of colors. The possible combinations are nearly endless. Our expertise doesn't end at the kitchen however; we are also pleased to offer bathroom vanities and wall units as part of our fine line of cabinetry. Our elegant vanities and wall units are custom designed to your preferences and are built with the same superior quality you've come to expect from a Glenwood Kitchen. Experience the beauty, luxury and convenience of owning a Glenwood Kitchen and you'll realize there is "Quality behind every door"! Unlike most custom cabinetmakers, Glenwood Kitchen Ltd. has two dry Kilns on premises that can be used to take "Green Lumber" and dry it to an appropriate level. From there the lumber moves through our assembly line to a number of sizing machines which plane, rip, mold and cut into different sizes and lengths. Throughout this whole process the pieces are being sanded and checked for quality. Our modern tools, machinery, and gifted workforce, allow us to construct quality face frames, doors, boxes, and drawers all on site. Once the pieces have been sized they then move down the assembly
line where they are either sprayed, or hand wiped, with our unlimited
selection of beautiful colors and lasting protective lacquers.
Once our pieces have been 100% dried, the cabinets are assembled,
again checked for quality, wrapped, and ready to be shipped by
our fleet of trucks. |
